Global Law Enforcement Gadgets: Taser Bracelets Coming?

If you read the newspapers, work in law enforcement, or are a frequent traveler perhaps you not only read but actually see new ‘non-lethal’ forms of offensive weapons to use against supposed criminals. But: Do we just assume everyone is guilty and survey and prepare to take down everyone?

In case you have not seen it now, there are technologies being touted by many security groups from around the world. A few months ago, a French company was being heavily courted by many international law enforcement and military groups for a type of flying surveilence / tasor drone:

But now, it appears a new group has discovered a way to potentially change the way everyone looks at the airport and air travel:  This new device supposedly would erase the need for tickets, surveil all passengers, and be able to taser them: all at a moments notice….with one small bracelet:

With new technologies not only being invented, but apparently in great demand globally by law enforcement and military agencies: Are we making ourselves safer, or handcuffing ourselves into bondage?
