When reading over Proverbs 22, does verse 3 perhaps call for our discretion in today’s world? And if so, what does it say to us?
In the KJV:
3A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.
Or, in the Amplified Version:
3A prudent man sees the evil and hides himself, but the simple pass on and are punished [with suffering].
Any thoughts?
